Unfortunately, during this division process, your telomeres shorten every time this division process takes place.  Leaving the body vulnerable and prone to aging at a faster pace.  We all know that as we get older, the body is more prone to sickness.

That’s why it is so important to make sure our telomeres stay healthy to ensure the body stays strong longer. If you are someone that tends to get sick more often than normal, it may be a good idea to have your telomeres checked.  Just to make sure that they are at a normal length compared to others that are the same age and gender.
