But if I were to choose which is the tougher program, depending on your fitness level, I would have to go with P90X2. A big reason for this is due to the mental struggle one will go through trying to perform each exercise.

For me resistance training is manageable for me since i’ve been doing it for a while now, and this is what P90X is about. But with P90X2, it’s not the resistance that is difficult, it’s the mental aspect of fighting the burn you feel when performing each workout.

So not only do you have to get past the physical part of this program, but also the mental. Now this is usually the case with any exercise program, but for one that focuses primarily on stabilization, it can be even more difficult.
