Hey Everyone, my name is Ralph and I have been involved in Fitness for over 10 years.  I am a Certified Personalprofile1 Trainer and have been since August of 2014.  Currently I hold a certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and I must say, they have taught me a lot about how the body functions.  

Throughout my years in fitness, I have gained quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to getting in shape.  Now if you asked people what getting into shape means to them, the most common answers would be; losing weight, burning fat, increase endurance, etc.  I was never the biggest kid in highschool, if anything I was pretty skinny.  So even though I never had an issue with being “overweight” as most people tend to struggle with, I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not like what you see.

The reason for me creating this site, is not only to help people like you burn fat, but I want to help you to burn fat the right way.  When you ask people what are their goals when it comes to fitness, losing weight is what usually comes out of their mouth.  What they really mean to say is, I want to burn fat.  Because in reality, weight is just a number, and happiness is looking in the mirror and loving what you see everyday.

My Purpose

Exercising and being active in sports has always been something that came natural to me.  I loved working out so much that I thought about becoming a personal trainer a couple years out of college.  But I wanted to become a Trainer for all the wrong reasons.  Mainly because I never saw me working behind a cubicle and since I liked working out, being a trainer made perfect sense.  Unfortunately I did not pursue the path of training because my passion wasn’t strong enough.

It seems that most passions come from wanting to help those that are unable to help themselves.  Also I know how hard it can be to want to do things that benefit the body when the motivation is absent from the mind. Thus the reason I started to develop more of a passion to help people with their health and fitness goals.  Working out started to become about helping inspire and motivate others to want to also focus more on their health.  More people would ask me questions and it was an amazing feeling.

As we all know, there are dozens of diets out there that say they can help you lose weight in 30 days, etc. Then after those 30 days are up, you’re out there looking for the next plan.  Diets are cool and all, but I am more about creating a lifestyle of fitness, because the thing about diets is, they eventually come to an end.  I want to help you create something that is more sustainable. Living a healthy lifestyle is more about developing a habit of healthy living and not getting caught up too much on the scale and more about how you feel.
