But when I hear about low carb diets, i think about some of the important nutrients that may be missing from a healthy diet.

Also, if you’re taking in less carbs, then that means you will have to consume more fats and protein. This can cause you to eat more unhealthy foods to make up for the loss in carbs.

Of course if you manage it correctly and have the discipline to make sure you’re still eating healthy fats and protein, it’s possible to get away with reducing your carb intake.

But more than likely, the reason you’re in your current situation is because you lack the necessary discipline to get the results you’re looking for.

Low Carb Diets Can Increase Your Cravings

You always hear people say consume things in moderation. So when you deprive yourself of things you like, this will only increase your cravings for it. Thus you will find yourself consuming unhealthy foods more often.
