So if you struggle the first day, make sure to record how long you were able to go that day, then come back the next day to beat it. I like this type of system as it always forces you to push yourself more challenging you both physically and mentally.
If it isn’t obvious yet, this workout is clearly for advanced players. So if you are someone that is just starting out with getting in shape, then you may want try out a less intense workout.

As a former kickboxing instructor, it would be nice to hit an actual bag, but this program is just as effective. With the level of intensity this workout provides, you can expect to burn a lot of calories which will help with weight loss.
Other than handling the intensity of the workout, one of the most difficult thing to adjust to are the moves. If you’ve never performed any boxing or martial arts moves, it’s going to feel really awkward in the beginning.
But with more repetition, you will start to see your moves improve dramatically.
One of the coolest things about this workout is the format. Each round is 3 minutes long as if you were in an actual boxing match. And after you are done with a round, they recommend that you bounce around like a boxer until the workout resumes.

The program does require you to have either weights or resistance bands. Along with a mat and a thigh toner if possible. This will ensure that you get the most out of your cardio and resistance training efforts. And don’t worry, you won’t get bulky during the program.
Also, even though this workout it considered tough, someone that is new to exercise can definitely handle it. If I compared it to a workout program like P90X, I would say that it is much easier than that, and more user friendly.

Then by allowing it to heal with rest, letting your muscles build back up which will help develop bigger muscles. The best way to tear those muscle fibers is by adding enough resistance that will put enough stress on your muscles.
So when it comes to the P90X workout program, if you are looking to burn fat and build muscle, then you’ve chose the right program. Now don’t expect to come out looking like a bodybuilder, but you should be able to develop nice lean muscle after completing program.
The equipment that is required for this program are weights or resistance bands. A pullup bar or door attachment for your bands. You will also need a yoga mat for when you find yourself doing the floor exercises.
To go along with your workout program, you will also be given a meal plan to complement your workout routine. This will help ensure that you get the best results using habits that is necessary to get those results.
Some would say that Tony Horton is the face of the beachbody program. When you think of workout programs, Tony is definitely on the list of top names that immediately come to mind. He has both the energy and knowledge to get you results.

The only thing I like to caution is if you do choose to try this program out, make sure you go at your own pace. Being safe should always be the main goal when it comes to any intense workout. It’s ok if you’re not able to pick up the moves right away. Just take your time.
This is a 90 day program where each workout lasts anywhere from 45-60 minutes. There are also some core workouts that are about 30 minutes, but the main workouts are between 45-60 minutes.
I’m a huge fan of programs that are at least 90 days as they increase the chances of success long term. Sticking to a program for 90 days requires you to be both discipline and consistent while trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
If you’re looking for a very basic meal plan to go with your workout, then the P90X Portion plan is as basic as it gets. It’s a very simple meal plan you can follow right along with your workout program.
There were some questions regarding 21 day fix meal plan, and if it could be used as a substitute to the portion plan. Although it is recommend that you stick to the portion plan, you can go with 21 day fix and still be fine.

There is also a learn it feature that is just before the actual workout. Each move is broken down for you in an easy to perform way. Once you have mastered the moves, you can then move on to the actual workout.

You can expect a very thorough workout routine as Autumn as your trainer. She brings a wealth of knowledge in the fitness industry, especially when it comes to healthy eating. Along with good energy, you will have no issue being motivated during the workouts.
This workout program is perfect for those looking to just get started. Many times, beginners are unsure of what type of workouts or how to eat during their fitness routine. With 21 day fix, all the guesswork is taken out and you are shown exactly what you need to do.
Even though this is a beginner-intermediate course, there are always times where some are unable to perform a particular exercise. Because of this, there are always modifications given to help those that may struggle.

The way it works is, remember that container plan I told you about earlier? Well this is where comes in. you will be asked to input some numbers in regards to your weight and calories. Based on these numbers, a calorie target will be calculated.
Based on that calorie target number, your container plan will be chosen. There are four plans, (A,B,C,D). So whatever plan that is calculated for you, will determine things like how much protein, fruit, veggies, etc, you can eat on a given day.

This particular workout is a combination of cardio and resistance training. So if you’re looking to burn fat and build some muscle, this program would be great for you.
And although not much weight is required, it is recommended that you have a set of weights and a pull up bar. If you don’t have a pull up bar, you can substitute it with resistance bands with a door attachment.
It is also recommended that you have a jump mat and sandbag. Wait, you don’t have a sandbag laying around? Well don’t worry about it, you can use dumbbells to complete your training. Although having the sandbag will help you engage your core muscles more.
Before you start the workout program, you are given a few things like a quick start guide. Things to help you keep track of your progress (more on this later). The cool thing about this is, everything is in military terms. Which gives you a real feel of the boot camp atmosphere.
Now when starting off with the workout, usually Tony is there doing the moves with you. But this time he’s just a spectator.

Well this is done to make sure you’re constantly moving, and also to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly. Because the moves can be a bit complex, although doable, making sure you are safe while performing the moves is key to avoiding any injuries.
So in a sense, you can think of him as your drill sergeant, helping you build the discipline needed to get you to where you want to be.
If you’re not yet familiar with Tony Horton, i’m sure you will be after just one workout with him. It’s hard to mention beachbody without Tony’s name being attached to it. He’s one of the elite trainers out there with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry.
Not only will you get high energy, but also motivation which is key to finding success with your fitness goals. My only advice would be, make sure you bring it when it comes to a Tony Horton workout.
The fitness level for 22 minute hard corps is intermediate. So if you are a beginner looking to get started, this may be a bit much. But if you love the challenge, then by all means go for it. Just make sure you go at your own pace, because safety should always be priority #1.
But for those that have at least some experience when it comes to working out, then this is the perfect workout to help get you to that next level. The workout is only 22 minutes a day, so you can expect some very intense movements.
If for any reason you are not able to perform a certain move, there are modifications to help you get through it. If necessary, keep performing the modifications until you are able to perform the movements.
Remember, going at your own pace is key. If you are not able to master the moves right away, it’s ok. The great thing about these workouts is that they are there whenever you need them. So make sure to take your time, but at the same time push yourself.
Hard corps is an 8 week program where all you need is 22 minutes a day to complete the exercise. Now some may question if a 22 minute workout program can work. Just like many question if 7 minute workout or 15 minute workout programs work.
But because of the military style training that you’re getting where it’s fast paced non-stop, you can expect to burn a lot of calories during each workout.

Before you start your workout, you are given what’s called a ration plan. Geared towards those looking to lose weight, you are asked a few questions, and based on your score, determines what plan you should follow.
The plan pretty much consists of the amount of calories you should be consuming each day to lose weight in a healthy way. Being someone that understands how weight loss works, this plan made a lot of sense.
Remember, in order to lose weight, you have to put your body through a caloric deficit. Meaning, if burn more calories than you consume, you will lose weight.
So it’s important to make sure you follow the guide as it is crucial to help you reach your goals. Everything is pretty much laid out for you. So you know what to eat and when to eat it.
Tracking your progress is also key, and we all know how the scale is not always the best way to measure progress. So along with your workout, you are given a sheet to measure yourself and are asked to take before and after photos.
To go along with tracking your measurements, you are given your own PT Fit Test to track your improvements through this 8 week program. Basically you will be required to perform as many push ups, squats, pull ups, and jumping jacks as you can in 1 minute.
In week number 4, you will go back and try those same exercises again to see how many you can do. Then again in week 8 for your final results. This is a great way to see how much you have improved through this training.

You will constantly have to keep that body moving and Tony is the perfect trainer to make sure that is the case. You can expect to burn quite a few bit calories, because if anything, it will be intense.
I would recommend however that you warm up a bit before starting the workout. Usually Tony has you do some warmups before getting started, but I guess with 22 minutes, it can be a bit difficult to get in a decent warm up.
But still, to avoid injury, I always like to make sure the body is nice and warm before engaging in any workout that involves resistance training. Also don’t forget to cool down as that is key to avoiding injury as well.
