When you are someone that is into fitness as I am, it’s always fun to get something that will help better your health and fitness needs. So when I got a Nutri Ninja as a birthday gift, I was beyond excited to start using it. I pretty much use it daily for both my fruit smoothie shake which also includes a scoop of protein powder, and my weight gainer shake.

For my smoothie, I usually mix up strawberries, blueberries, mangos, pineapples, almond milk spinach or kale. For my weight gainer shake, I usually mix oats, water, olive oil and peanut butter. So it is safe to say that I know all the pros and cons for this particular blender. Let’s start off with the good.

The Good – It comes with two containers, with the largest one being a 24oz container. Since I tend to mix quite a few ingredients in my smoothie shake, a good amount of power will be needed to mix it up nice and smooth, and the Nutri Ninja does just that. You don’t have to worry about any chunkiness after blending with the ninja, making it an easy drink. Also, I’ve had my nutri ninja for years now, and the blade still cuts great. So no worries about the blade getting dull from what I can see.

The Bad – being that I mix so many ingredients, there is a limit to how much I can put. While there is a line that shows the max limit on the container, you have to really be careful especially when adding protein powder. Because even though you can be below the line, the powder tends to increase the amount when being blended. Causing it to not blend efficiently. Also, the blender can get extremely loud when used enough times. Loud enough that I need earplugs when blending. So definitely need to keep that in mind.

Overall – Other than the loudness, this blender is worth it. I definitely get my monies worth since I use it every single day to blend my shakes. Just make sure to get some earplugs after about a year’s use

NutriBullet Pro 900 Reviews

One of my friends had a nutribullet and really liked using it. She used it mainly for smoothies and would mix in protein powder to get her protein fix in after workouts. Has had it for about a year now and finds it very useful for her daily dietary needs.

The Good – Very powerful and durable blender that can pretty much blend up many ingredients used to make either a smoothie or protein shake. Also comes with 2 containers where the largest one is 32oz. Blades make for very smooth blending, so no worries about your shake being chunky.

The Bad – Some users have complaints about the blender not being able to last that long. My friend has had it for at least a year now and has had no issues with it, so potential for defective items. Also customer service may be difficult dealing with if happen to have defective item.

Overall – Very useful tool if you are someone that is looking for a blender for your smoothies. Will definitely get the job done with its powerful motor. As long as you don’t get a defective one, you should be good for a while
